Big Morning

We had a big morning.  We left the house around 9am to go to River Falls.  The first stop was to UWRF so Robert could sign the insurance check.  From there we got the oil changed, since there is a $3 discount if it is done before 10am.  We also bought stamps, took the check to the hospital to get everything cleared up, stopped at Shopko to get training pants for Laura and bubble bath, and looked at the second hand store to look for a baptism outfit for Warren.  I looked at the outift we have from John, and it is 8-13 pounds.  Warren is 14 pounds.  Just looking at it, it looks too small.  I’ll try looking at Once Upon a Child, but if they don’t have anything, I don’t know what I’ll do.  I guess we’ll make do with what we have.  I absolutely refuse to spend $48-$50 on an outfit he’ll wear only once.  Maybe I’ll go out tonight once Robert gets home.  I don’t want to take the kids out again.

I made a tough decision this weekend.  Warren and I have been struggling with breast feeding again.  It’s at the point that 8 times out of 10 it hurts really badly when he eats.  I’m going to pump for as long as I can and then we’ll switch to formula.  In a way I’ll be to be done with it, but I’m also a little sad.  Laura and I were able to go 14 months.  Warren and I made it 2.  Robert is concerned about the cost of formula.  I feel bad that we just spent so much money on a new pump just a couple weeks ago.  We’ll have to make it work one way or another.  Once I’m done pumping, we should be able to sell the pump for a decent price.
