Laura slept until past 8 this morning. I knew that something was up. She only sleeps that late when she is sick. She woke up with a fever of 101… and orange gunk draining out of her ear (and yes, gunk is a very technical term). I knew immediately that she had an ear infection. Even though she has tubes (they are still in) they couldn’t keep up with everything I guess. So off to the doctor we went. Robert stayed home with Warren. She is now on augmentin and ear drops. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon.
I really need to look at the toys I have and maybe get some new ones for Warren. He loves to bang and make noise. Laura wasn’t into that stuff so I don’t think we have much. I’ll have to take a look once again. Of course Laura loves that stuff now and so she takes it from him.
Laura and Robert are both napping right now. Warren is playing in his exersaucer. I am watching the Olympics. I should work on the kitchen again for a bit. I have supper going in the crock pot, so that takes some demands off me. I only have to add the pineapple, green pepper, and rice about 30 minutes before we want to eat. I’ll post the recipe so that I have it on here. IT’s one that we love and cook a lot.
