Today is a day I just want to give up. Robert is working from home. I needed to run some errands in Woodbury. I took Laura with me. I really wish I would have left her at home. She was looking at all the toys at Once Upon a Child. She then proceeded to throw a fit because I didn’t buy her any. The second store was a disaster because I put her in the cart to ride so we could be done faster. I had other errands to run, but didn’t because of how she was behaving. It was also getting to be lunch time. On a positive note, I did find a baptism outfit for Warren. I’ll see if I can get the picture of it to post at the end here.
We got back home and she was throwing another fit for some reason (I don’t even remember why). I ended up putting her in timeout for 2 minutes because of all her crying. She started to calm down after that. She ate a good lunch, then Robert put her down for nap by noon. It is now 1:30 and she is still in there talking. GRRRRRRR. I am leaving her for a while yet. I just can’t deal with her yet. Robert wanted me to take a nap. I am not a 2 year old. I will nap when needed.
I am in the process of sorting pictures from the beginning of the month to now. It would be nice to start with an empty card before Warren’s baptism this weekend. I have written down which pictures go where. Now I just need to save them to the correct folders and get them uploaded. So much to do, and yet so little time.
I have also waved the white flag with potty training for now. She said no several times this morning when we asked her to sit on the potty. It just isn’t worth adding to the headache right now.
