So I think we are going to start trying to potty train Laura this week. I think she is ready for it. Plus, I know she would love all the extra attention that will come with it. If she refuses or tells me in her own way that she isn’t ready, we’ll back off. I’ll borrow a potty chair from a friend (she has offered it to us several times). I picked up Elmo in Potty Land last night, so we’ll watch that and work up some excitement. We’ll see how it all goes.
I am going to be outside mowing the lawn this afternoon. It helps me get out and do something mindless for a bit. Plus, Robert was feeling overwhelmed with how much he wanted to get done today it is something I can do to help. I have a list of things to get done this week, but not much to be done today.
I did learn this morning that Laura’s Halloween costume from last year does still fit. That makes me so excited, since Laura and Warren will have matching costumes. :D I also learned this morning though (and I really should have thought about it beforehand) that putting on a costume before church isn’t such a good idea. Laura *really* didn’t want to take it off. Fortunately I was able to get her out of it and then distract her with painting her finger nails. Good thing her grandma has turned her into a girly girl!
