Overall today was a good day. Early this morning we came to the conclusion that my breastpump is dying. With the weekend coming up that we have, I can’t risk having a dead pump. After debating between buying a used pump off CraigsList and getting a new one using gift cards, we decided to go the new route. We can recoupe some of the money selling it when we are done. I got up around 6:45 and started the day. Warren was ready to eat, then Laura was up. I was able to shower this morning, but it wasn’t a relaxing one. Laura stood in the door crying at tme the entire time. Warren was in the swing and cryng at me by the time I was done. I should note that it was only a 5 minute shower!
By 9 we were out the door to go shopping. Both kids did pretty well. Thankfully Babies R Us has a mother’s room. By the time we got there both kids were needing diaper changes and Warren was ready to eat. I only needed one quick item that was in the front of the store, but I knew I had to use the mother’s room or it was be an absolutely miserable drive back home. when we got home, Warren hung out in his swing and then ate. I fixed lunch for Laura and I. She didn’t eat much of it, and went down for a nap. By 12:30 both kids were napping, and I laid down. I was able to sleep for 2 hours, which after the night we had was much needed. Warren and I had some cuddle time together before Laura woke up. It worked well that he was ready to take another nap when she woke up. It really helps when Laura can have time with just me. Robert got home and helped out with the kids a bit before his meeting at church.
Laura ate a good supper tonight. She had a full PB&J sandwich and about 8 peach clings along with a full cup of milk. Robert gave her a bath and put her to bed. Warren hung out on his gym mat while I did dishes. He is now in bed for the night. I am heading that way. I am really pathetic and excited to try out the new pump tonight. Good night!

The pump worked really well. The night wasn’t too bad. The only bad part was Robert and I were both awake even after he went to sleep. Our minds started racing and couldn’t turn them off. Other than that it went well. I love my Pack, but they are a young team that gets lots of penalties. We’ll get the Vikings another time. Maybe when we play at Lambeau.
BTW, is there a plug-in for the emoticons? Or somewhere I can see how to make them?
