I am still around. Just been busy. Funny how a baby can do that to you.
Work is about the same. I am averaging two or three days a week. This is ok with me. I am still tutoring for a couple more weeks. Pretty soon school will be out. We don’t meet during the summer. There was a possibility of taking on another student over the summer, but I haven’t heard anything yet.
We have new living room furniture. I absolutely love it. I love having matching sofa, love seat, coffee table, and two end tables. I no longer feel like the college kid that just graduated and is using whatever furniture they can get their hands on. Just another step to feeling like a full adult. There are some other steps I would like to take, but they require money, and well, we all know how that is lately.
My brother is now down at Fort Benning until October. He is there for his lieutenant training. He and I didn’t talk a lot, but knowing that I won’t see him when I go home is sad. The Army is a huge part of his life. I am proud of him for making lieutenant.
We had friends visit the past weekend. It was good seeing them again. This weekend we are home. We have to be at the 10:30 church service on Sunday. Other than that, we don’t have plans. I’m not sure if Robert is working on Monday or not. Sometimes he surprises me. If he isn’t working, it would be nice to go to Willow River and just walk some of the trails there. I think Laura would love it.
Speaking of Laura, she is just getting so much bigger and learning more every day. She still isn’t crawling. I’m not sure if she ever will. She will stand on her own for about 30 seconds, but she won’t move her feet. I know she’ll do it when she is ready. She is wanting to feed her self more and more. It is getting difficult to get her to eat the pureed foods. At the very least, it would be nice if she finished off what I made, so they don’t go to waste. Her first birthday is coming up. I can’t believe how fast her first year went. Everyone told me it would go fast. I just didn’t realize how fast. I am in the process of planning her birthday party. It will be June 14 (Saturday of Father’s Day weekend). I am thinking it’ll start around 1 or so. We’ll have some snack items and of course cake. 
That’s about it from me. I am hoping to get outside with Laura today. I would like to make a point of getting out at least once a day. A walk is sounding very appealing right now.
