This week has been busy, fun, and tiring. So last Friday night, Robert and I went up to Bona in Cumberland. Well worth the hour drive for food. Saturday I had to work 3-8, which was my last night at Papa Murphy’s. YAY! Sunday Jess and Justin were supposed to come over for food, but they had to cancel on us. So we would reschedule that one. Monday I was feeling kinda down, so I went to Robert’s for the evening. Monday I taught my first language arts lesson. I have had better ones. Tuesday Robert and I met Rich and Sonja at Noodles for dinner. For dessert, we walked down to Cold Stone. I had a fun time just relaxing. Wednesday I had Tomorrow’s Educators picnicc in Glen Park. They provided party subs and we were supposed to bring chips or a dessert and our own beverage. I drug Liz along, and we had fun. Afterwards we went to see The Prince and Me. I loved it. Part of the movie takes place in Wisconsin, so that was fun. What made it even better, is that there were about 3 or 4 girls behind me making comments because they are from that part of the state (Manitowac). Thursday night I did a “double date” with Jess and Justin. They came over to Robert’s, and we cooked up some frozen Bona. We moved the table to the living room so there would be enough room for all of us, and so we could watch Friends. They had to leave soon afterwards because Justin had a lot of homework to do. Robert made the comment that we would have to do it again because they didn’t stay long enough.
So that brings me to today. I taught my second language arts lesson. Today’s lesson went a lot better, which surprised me. The Colony IV students were having a Renaissance Fair in the afternoon, so guess what was on everyone’s mind all day. This evening, Robert and I did some shopping in Hudson, and ate at Pizza Hut. The food was good, but the service could have been better. As Robert said, “Our waitress had the personality of a dead fish.” We also made a stop at Wal-Mart to pick up some wrapping paper, cards, and found some DVD/CD racks. This means we can get rid of the wooden shelf in the bedroom to make room for a dresser for me! But I should quit typing and help move things around. Tomorrow is Rich and Sonja’s wedding, and Sunday we are heading up to Dallas to visit Robert’s parents. I’m looking forward to slowing down, but I don’t know when that will be. Oh yeah, and on top of all this, I am starting to get a head cold again. yay. Write more later.
