I’ve been searching for some inspiration for tonight’s post. There are MANY writing challenges out there. I just didn’t strike a chord with any of the topics suggested tonight. I think I just need to let my fingers go and see what comes out.
Today was a good day at work for me. We had great students working. I was able to work on my project (mapping in all the books to the classes). We had some nice conversation going, which lead to some odd topics, but fun nonetheless. Coming home tonight wasn’t as much fun. I don’t want to get into too many details, but there was friction between Robert and me as well as the kids and me. In the end, I was able to workout for 45 minutes, the lawn is halfway done, baths were done tonight, and the kids are in bed sleeping. I have a long to-do list for tomorrow, but I’ll do what I can. Robert and I are going out on a date Friday night, so we want the house cleaned up a bit. It just plain needs it whether we’d be going out or not. Saturday I’ll be heading to the middle of nowhere Wisconsin for Mandy’s birthday party. I’ll return home on Monday.
I waver on whether or not I care about who reads this blog. I know deep down I do it for myself. I find it easier to type than to write it all out by hand. I can also do it while surfing around the web or chilling. Part of me wonders who reads this? I don’t list it with search engines. Partly because it is personal, partly because I don’t feel like I have anything worthy of putting out there. There is so much backlash it seems about people thinking they are a great writer just because they have a blog. I don’t pretend that I’m a great writer. Most of my postings are a recap of my day. To most people, that’d be boring. I enjoy reading other blogs. There are some that have crazy stories. I don’t feel like that is me at all. That all being said, I think in a way I do wish people would read this. It would be nice to get some feedback at times or comments. I see blog posts where the author throws a question out and there are 30 replies and a great conversations starts. I doubt that will happen here. ever.
Well, tomorrow is a day full of cleaning, working out, and a chiropractor appointment. Hopefully the kids will sleep well and be in good moods tomorrow.
