I’ve had a hard time with Warren turning 2. I never had issues with Laura turning 2. I was fine with him turning 1. For some reason, 2 is hard. I think it’s because he is no longer my baby. He is my baby, and now I no longer have a baby. I was afraid that some switch would be thrown and I’d no longer get the cuddles. Thankfully, that has passed. I no longer worry about that. I am still getting my cuddles.
Warren has started talking more. His words are always understandable, but I can usually figure it out. When in doubt, ask a yes/no question. He is very good at understanding and responding. He makes his wishes well known. I am sure he will talk when he is good and ready. He does chatter in the backseat quite a bit anymore. I don’t understand most of it, but he just keeps talking.
He is a typical boy in so many ways. He loves balls, cars, Diego, and Elmo. He is doing a stellar job of being the little brother and picking on his sister as much as possible. They do play well together at times, but they also fight. I try to let them work it out on their own, but I still intervene a bit. A goal for me to work on.
