I can’t believe that my baby boy is 4 months old already. Time has flown by in some regards, but not in others. Warren had his 4 month well baby check yesterday. He weighed 17 pounds 1 ounce. He is 25 1/4 inches long. I don’t remember head circumference, but it was in the 50%. His length is about 55-60% and weight is 90%. What amazes me is I know that Laura was bigger at this point, but he is still in the 90% for weight. He got all his vaccinations. Laura and I both got the H1N1 vaccine as well. So all in all, he’s a healthy boy. He is starting to do really well with pushing himself up on his arms to look around. I don’t really do tummy time with him like I should, but he does sleep on his tummy. So he is getting better one way or another. I really do need to practice rolling with him and do more tummy time.
Today’s plans are to go to coffee in the morning. I don’t know who will all be there, but I’ll show up at least. Then I need to get some groceries. I’ll probably stop at BTI to take care of some business with our cable company (everything is fine… just have a chance to get some Visa cards if we commit to staying for a certain length of time, which we plan to do anyways). This afternoon Mandy is coming over to made candies/cookies with me. I want to make fudge, pecan tassies, and walnut toffee. I don’t know what is on Mandy’s list to make. It should be a fun afternoon.
Warren’s sleep habits have totally changed. He is now waking up at 1 because of a wet diaper and again at 5am to eat. I ordered some Huggies Overnights to try with him. They seem to do wonders for Laura, so hopefully the same will go for Warren. The downside is that the size 3 of those diapers are hard to find. I had to order off amazon.com to get them. Not sure when they will get here, but it can’t be soon enough. Robert and I are getting really run down with this. I thought we were past it! His sleep habits changed while we were at Mom’s for Thanksgiving. Up to that point he had been sleeping through the night and fussing a little around 5.
On the positive side of all this, with Warren waking up early it is forcing me to get up and do my exercises. I am finally doing something about not liking my body. I am not as consistent as I should be, but I figure a little is better than none at all.
As for Christmas shopping, I still have a lot to do. Robert took Monday off so here’s hoping we can get finished then. I still need to get stocking stuffers for Robert, Laura, and Warren. I refuse to do my own. I also need to get a stocking for Warren and get it decorated. The only person completely done is Tamara.
Well, time to get going so I can make it to coffee this morning.
