… woken up and you just know it’s going to be one of THOSE days? I have that feeling about today already. It is only 7:30am, but let’s just say today isn’t starting like I had imagined. I woke up at 4:30 with Warren for the morning feeding. He was back in bed around 5, sleeping by 5:15 or so. Me? I was awake until 6. I was starting to drift off again when Laura was crying. She wanted her blankie, which was on top of her. UGH. So I go in, put her on her pillow, pull the stuffed animal out from under her back, and cover her up again. She cries even harder when I leave. I go back to our room and tell Robert that he gets to deal with her. Of course she puts herself to sleep by then. So now I’m just completely awake. I try to shower. When the water turns off, Warren is in the bedroom crying pretty hard. I rush in and comfort him before he wakes up Laura. Now Laura is up, being a little whiny. I really wish Robert could take a half day of sick leave just so I can have a break. But he can’t, so such is life. I’ll make the best of it.
