That is exactly what today turned out to be. Our weekend was very full and busy. The kids and I needed a day just at home with no demands. Yesterday Warren was baptised. It was a good day. Mom and Dad came to the house for a little bit after lunch. Everyone else went their own way after lunch.
I had great plans to nap this afternoon. I had eaten lunch, both kids were fed and sleeping. I was laying in bed when I heard a thud. I came out to the kitchen to find my flowers tipped over yet again. I put both cats in the basement for the rest of the day. I went to lay down again and Warren decided that he had slept enough. He wasn’t really hungry or needing much. He was just awake. There went my plan for a nap. He’s been up most of the afternoon, but he’s been happy so I can’t complain too much. He is currently laying on his gym mat looking at the animals hanging and kicking his feet. Robert took Laura to return library books and play at the park for a little bit.
This is going to be a full week. Tomorrow morning we are going to visit Meghan and Toby in the morning. Wednesday we have play group again. Not sure what is going on Thursday and Friday yet. Both kids are Tigger for Halloween. I’m not sure what the plans are exactly yet. I am inclined to do what we did last year: drive to a few house in River Falls where we know the people and call it good. It’s not like Laura needs much candy and Warren can’t eat it. I’m excited to see both kids in their costumes. Maybe I’ll do another post tonight of baptism pictures.
Dinner tonight is leftovers, so that is easy for me. :) I really don’t mind cooking, but it’s nice to not have to worry about it.
