I have no idea what to title tis post, so it’s going to just be untitled. Laura had a humorous moment this morning. She told me she wanted a pop-tart for breakfast. I had no problem with it. I got one out of the closet for her. She wanted to hold it. She then informed me that it was sad. Hugs and kisses were given to it to make it happy.
I don’t know if I had posted this earlier, but I want to get it down for sure so I can always find it. Warren had his 2 month appointment on Oct. 8. He weighed 14 pounds even and was 23.5 inches long. Dr. Steinmetz was pleased with how he is growing and how strong of a boy he is. Warren did well with the shots. The first one he didn’t even flinch. He did cry during the second and third, but calmed down right away. Laura holds her breath and turns purple. At least I don’t have two kids like that. Warren didn’t seem to be bothered by them at all the rest of the day. I did give a small does of Tylenol as a preemptive measure.
Yesterday went well. I reallly tried hard to give Laura as much attention as I could. We didn’t have much for meltdowns. When Robert got home I took Laura to get her haircut and left Warren at home with him. We had a bit of a wait, but Laura did great. We got home around 6:15. I got Laura dinner. Then the meltdown started. She sat and whined and cried because she didn’t want to eat the rest of her sandwich. Robert got to see how she really is when I’m home with her and she is doing that. It is worse than any fits she throws on the weekends. He couldn’t stand it and put her to bed. I think I might have a little more sympathy now that he really knows.
Well, time that I got off of here and got ready for the day. We are heading to a friend’s house this morning for a visit.
