Things are going much better today. Actually, they got better with naps yesterday. I gave Laura a quick lunch and had her in bed by 11:15. She normally goes down around 12. I had to take the risk of putting her down early though because I just couldn’t take her much longer. She ended up napping until 2:45! I guess she really needed some sleep. Robert ended up leaving work early (mainly to get our nephew’s birthday present), and took Laura shopping with him. I had her ready and in the car when he pulled into the garage (only one car has car seats in it). She even went to bed a little early last night. Warren on the other hand didn’t go to sleep until 9:30. He was up at 2 to eat. At 3 he was still up with Robert and decided he had too much in his tummy and did a projectile spit-up. I don’t know when they got to bed. I went back to sleep and the next thing I knew it was 6:30.
The three of us went to Woodville for coffee this morning. Warren was passed to the other girls, so I had Laura to myself. I would share her too, but Laura is shy around other people. We got home and Warren decided it was time to eat about 10 minutes ago. I quickly got Laura and him changed. Just as Warren is starting to eat, Laura informs me that she is pooping. Great, the diaper didn’t last 5 minutes. At least it is cloth and not a disposable that costs $.25 each. As I type, Warren is in bed. I don’t think he’s sleeping quite yet. Laura is at the table playing with her spoon when she should be eating lunch. She ate a bit at coffee, so I won’t be surprised if she doesn’t eat a lot of lunch.
This afternoon I am debating doing some shopping. I have to get Tamara’s birthday present and 2 wedding gifts for next weekend. We also need to get a birthday card for Owen. Well, Warren has decided that it isn’t naptime and Laura has decided she’s all done. Time for me to run!
