I had my 6 week post partum check this morning. I had Melissa watch Warren and Laura for me so I didn’t have to worry about them. Laura apparently has developed severe stranger anxiety. She just stood by the wall and didn’t talk at all the entire time I was gone (30 minutes or so). Once I showed up she did a complete 180 and started chatting up a storm and playing with the toys.
New from my appoinment: things are looking good. I’m all healed up, with the exception of having a prolapsed bladder. It is a very mild case so no action will be taken at this point.
After my appointment we visited a few people on campus. Two of Robert’s coworkers hadn’t met Warren yet. That was a short visit, and then I went over to Textbook Services to visit with Shirley. Virgil and Shirley are wanting me to work in December for book return. I’m honestly don’t know if I want to work or not. I know the money would be good, and it could be nice to get out of the house. On the other hand, I would have to take a break every few hours to pump since Warren is breastfeeding. It’s a tough decision. I’m not going to make it now. The other factor would be daycare. I don’t know if Helen would have space for 2 additional kids. It would also be a lot for her to have 2 young babies all day for a week (even several days in a row). But like I said, I’m not going to make the decision now.
