Staying Afloat

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday. No signs of actual pre-term labor, so that is good. I had my feet up last night and all this morning so far. Not a single contraction. So that is good too. I am so thankful that Laura plays so well on her own. For close to half an hour now, she has been sititng and reading books. Robert and I need to figure out how we are going to handle this being our situation for the next 10 weeks (hopefully not any more, hopefully a little less). The doctor would like me to get help with Laura, so we’ll have to see where things are sitting and what we can afford. The doctor also wants me to be taking naps and not doing much. So while it’s not full bedrest, I do need to stay low and quiet. Which I’ll do, just to keep this baby in as long as possible. I would really rather not see the NICU.
