Oh the joys of motherhood. For the last few days, Laura has been fussier than normal. Today she didn’t nap longer than 45 minutes at a time. She nursed every 2 hours (normally every 3 or so). I called Mom out of frustration this afternoon. She thinks maybe Laura is starting to get teeth in. So I gave her some Tylenol, and put a Nuk or two in the freezer. Those seemed to make her happy. She has been up for 3 or more hours in a row now. She can’t settle down to sleep. It could be a very long night.

I may just be a boy but isn’t that a bit early to be getting teeth? I remember that there were times where it seems that there was a growth spurt or some other sort of change that caused instability for a few days. All really is well. One thing that I always kept in mind is that growing sucks.Sometimes a change of scenery seemed to work best for us. A cuddle, walk, trip to the mall or drive in the car always worked.

She is almost 3 months now. At her 2 month appointment our doctor said she could start getting teeth anytime. I do remember that growing sucks sometimes. It is rough on kids. Today the plan is to get out and about for a bit, so hopefully that will help too.

It could be many things(yeah I know that helps :-P) Lizzie would have days like that too and we for sure thought it was teething or her getting sick or something but in the end a lot of times she just had a bad few days. It could very well be a growth spurt. Speaking of that what size are you looking for in cloths? I know your coming up next month and I got all the cloths out of her closet and now in a big heap in the office and I need to go through them and want to know what size. I don’t have your e-mail only Roberts or I would just e-mail you.
You know I also remember her having some nap troubles around 3 months old.. I remember some days I wanted to pull my hair out because I could not get her to sleep unless I was holding her.
O my little one awakes so I better be going. I know I am not much help but just wanted to offer some been there done that.

Now today I’m not so sure if it is teething. She is back to her happy self today, at least so far. Maybe it is just a growth spurt. I just don’t know with her right now. Last night I was about to start looking like Robert on the top of my head. He came home just in time to save me.
She is currently in 3-6 month clothes. We have a bit of 6-9, but can always use more. So anything 6-9 and bigger would be great.
