Laura had her 2 month appointment today. She weighs 14 pounds, 4 ounces (in the 97th percentile), is 22 3/4 inches long (in the 75th percentile), and her head is 16.5 inches around (97th percentile). The doctor says that she is a perfectly healthy little girl. Then the not so fun part happened. She got 4 shots (2 in each leg). Boy was she mad! Afterwards, I was holding her on my chest up by my sholder. She just layed there and hung on to me. I felt so bad for her. I gave her Tylenol right away. I’ll give her another dose soon. I don’t want the pain to get too bad for her. I felt so bad for her. I am hoping to just give her lots of cuddles and love this afternoon. Hopefully she’ll continue to nap well too.

((hugs)) It gets better. The worst for Lizzie was her first round at 2 months. By her 6 month shots it was no big deal just some tears. Lots of love and Tylenol and she will be feeling better in no time!

That’s what we’re doing. Lots of Tylenol, bunches of hugs, and some sleep. I know it’s best for her too. Just not easy the first time.
