Dear cats,
When your dingle balls are rolling up and down the hallway, it is not for human amusement. The point is for you to go chasing after said balls. Your cooperation in the future is appreciated.
Thanks,
The Management
EDIT: As soon as I posted, one of the cats decides now is the time to play with the dingle ball. Go figure.

Actually it is to generate human amusement. If they don’t take the bait then it isn’t amusing … just creates sore fingers from batting the ball around.

Our cats ignore such things too. One, however, absolutely adores batting around the little plastic caps from water bottles. It’s like a little kid preferring the box the Xmas present came in over the present itself.

Twist ties are another favorite toy of our cats. You would think they were rubbed in cat nip or something (which they aren’t). They also enjoy the plastic caps from water bottles. Some of the simplest toys.
