Just a quick update. I get to work from 6am to 2pm the next three days. I’ll be exhausted, but it’ll be good to make some money. Robert’s “little” sister was supposed to come visit tonight. However, her work schedule got messed up so she can’t make it. It would have been nice to see her, but maybe it was for the best since I have to be up super early tomorrow morning, and Robert leaves early for work. I would have felt bad leaving her alone in the morning.
Friday we are heading down to my parents for the weekend. We’ll head to Rhythm and Booms. I am really looking forward to it. On Monday, we’ll go hiking at Parfrey’s Glen. It is part of Devil’s Lake State Park. Hopefully we can also get together with Robert’s friends Dan and Trish and Sam.
On an unrealated note, do any of you girls out there that are dating/married to a geek sometimes wonder if it would be better if your face was a computer monitor and your hands were a keyboard? Some nights I feel like that I am less entertaining than a laptop. Even on our date nights, while watching a movie, the computer was on. I know that he loves me, but sometimes I feel like a computer is more entertaining. Maybe I’m just being paranoid.
I should think about heading to bed. The 5:15 alarm is going to go off early tomorrow.

I’m sorry you feel that way. For what it’s worth, the only reason I turned on a laptop last night was because you were using Neb. I know, hardly excusable.

I know. I kinda wonder, even with the two of us, which he spends more time with, either/both of us or the computers. Course today my laptop got some of his attention so I can’t complain too much.
Now I’m eating a piece of cake while I listen to her cry at him. Is that bad?

I don’t think that’s bad. I guess we knew and accepted that this is a possibility when we said “I do.”
