So I figure it can’t hurt me to do a quick update. I’m really tired and should go to bed. I’ve come to the conclusion that this semester is going to go lots better than last. Block I is going to be tough and challenge me. However, my profs aren’t going to shove me out into the schools without any help. They are willing to work with me and answer any questions that I might have. They reallyare being guides…helping, but not too much. Health is going to be fun because my prof is so passionate about what she teaches. Her passion makes me really care and look forward to being a teacher. Music is going to just be annoying I think. The work doesn’t seem hard or anything, just annoying. All in all, it should be better than the Fall.
Work is another issue. Papa Murphy’s is still not giving me the hours I need. Luckily I can almost make ends meet with Textbook Services for now. I think if I talk to Tony, he might understand that I need more hours. We’ll see. I just don’t like talking to him. It doesn’t seem like he cares about the employees at all. Textbook is going well at least. I’m hoping for 10 hrs. a week. That is the max I can fit into my schedule.
Robert and I are still doing well. He came over tonight, and I cooked steak, mashed potatoes, and rice. It was a very nice meal. He left at 9, and I did all the dishes. The counter and stove were getting full and annoying me. I should look over some pages in my language arts book before class tomorrow. So I’m going to end this. I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m still alive and kicking here in River Falls. I’ll write more later.
