So it’s been a little while. I’ve noticed people making comments about resolutions for the new year. I haven’t made any, but I do have some things in mind that I would like to accomplish this year. I know that sounds contradictory, but it isn’t. In my mind, resolutions are just things said that people usually end up breaking before January is over, and never remember what they were by the time the end of the year rolls around. Instead, I have things in my mind that I wouldn’t mind getting accomplished, but isn’t a big deal either. Some of them are just making it to the end of the spring semester, being more active, and keep things cleaned up a little bit more. I don’t know what it is, but recently messes have been driving me nuts. My goal tonight is to get my room all clean so I can stand it. I also have to study for my midterm though.
Other things that are going on in my life include class and a Canada trip next weekend. My class is over next Friday, so that is kinda nice. I get the week before classes all to myself to get ready for a new semester. I also need to fill out scholarship applications next week. This year I should be eligible for a few more since I am in the college of ed now and have senior standing. I hope I get a few scholarships. The more help I can get that I don’t have to repay, the better.
I’ve been keeping in touch with John a little bit here and there. I last talked to him on January 1. It was a great way to start out the New Year. He is doing well. He doesn’t say much about what is going on with him. He would rather hear about what is going on in my life, or family life. If anyone would like to write to him, I am more than happy to give out his address. He loves to get mail, even if it is from people he doesn’t know.
I guess I don’t have much else to say. I should run over to North Hall and pay my tuition for J-Term. I’ll write more later.
