Right now I’m slightly annoyed, and yet happy. I’m annoyed for two reasons. The main one is that someone used our other parking spot last night, and is still there this morning. My parents are coming this morning, so we need the spot. Ordinarily I don’t care. So I’ve called the police to have them ticketed and then Jerry’s is going to tow them.
The second reason I’m slightly annoyed is because of last night. I had a big get together at Buca di Beppo’s in St. Paul. 4 of the people I invited were going to meet us there since they live in the Cities. One group showed up half an hour late. We stood in the entry waiting for them. The second group never definitely told me they were coming, but they made noises about coming. We tried their cell phone several times, but no one answered. We gave up and went ahead and ate once the late group arrived. It bothers me that they knew it was a big group (mass e-mails), but they never directly contacted me. How hard is it to hit the reply button?
And now I’m just pissed. I can have the vehicle that’s in my spot ticketed, but I can’t tow them without the landlord’s permission/authorization. That’s Jill. We can NEVER get ahold of her. I just tried calling and no one answered. Now I’m screwed. I’ll just have my parents park them in. Too bad for them. Hopefully my parents will be a little more calm about it than me. There are no spots near by that they can use. The streets in the area are packed because of classes.
GRRR
I said at the beginning I was happy, but that was before all this crap this morning. Last night was a blast. It was Mom, Dad, Misty, Liz, Robert, Meghan, Joe, and me. But Mom and Dad are here. Write more later.

So what ended up happening with the car? Did you get it towed? Did you find out who it was?

I never found out who it was. I couldn’t get it towed because I didn’t have the landlord’s permission. It just stayed in the spot. My parents had to park in one of the no parking spots for the day.
