Well, yesterday was a good day. It was 2 1/2 years of remission for me! Liz and I did some shopping in Woodbury while Robert did a run to MOA. We didn’t feel like heading all the way there for the simple things we needed. I did get some new underwear…fun ones! I have to take the bras back though because they don’t fit. After shopping was done, we met up at Applebee’s and had a nice dinner. When we got back to the room, I sat and made myself do all my French homework. I have been behind on it since Relay. Oops. But I have it all done now. This morning I went to my 8:00 Math class like I always do, however, I forgot that it was cancelled. I sat in the library finishing up little bits of homework, and typing this update.
Wednesday wasn’t such a good day for me. I didn’t have any of the homework done that was due that day, Math felt like a waste of time yet again, and Multicult was pretty boring. Work wasn’t bad though. We had all of us there, and Joe and I had our fun in the back like we always do.
Tuesday wasn’t anything special in my mind. I went to my two classes. I did register for classes. I have 16.5 credits next year and no classes on Fridays. I have 2 classes on Monday and Wednesdays for the first half of the semester. I have Social Dance during the second half of the semester with Liz.
Monday was a pretty dull day for me. I went to the doctor, had the chest x-ray taken. Everything is still in the clear. The next time I go to the doctor will be in October. Now it is every October until 2005. After that I have a visit in 2010 and then 2020. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Liz was supposed to go to Iowa today for an Ag. Mech. conference. However, she got an e-mail last night saying the trip was cancelled. This was really disappointing for several people. Liz was looking forward to going, and Robert and I were looking forward to being able to spend some time alone together. Oh well. We’ll get our chance eventually.
This weekend I’m hoping to get my French film watched and summarized. I am also hoping to get my observation paper for Exceptional Child. If I can get these two things done, I’ll be VERY happy. More things off my To-Do List. This weekend I’ll do the observation paper, next weekend I’ll do my powerpoint presentation for Multicult, and then I go home. The weekend after that is the weekend before finals. I can’t believe we are almost at the end of the semester. Time sure has flown by.
