turtle dove

I have this stuffed plush turtle that Liz seems to really like. I offered it to her to take back home for the summer, but she didn’t want to. I thought she could hold it and think ofme … instead I hold it and think of her. I discovered last night when I had it next to my pillow that it even smells like her. :)

    I can relate…
    First off, Rob, I have to ask…so why does the turtle smell like Liz? Huh? Just have to give you crap.
    Anyway, I can relate to the whole long-distance summer thing. I’ve done it before, and it has worked out, so don’t dispair. Besides, road trips are fun, and the anticipation that builds up between visits, however torturous it is, also feels good in this really weird way.
    At least you know Liz will be back in RF in September. My b/f is in the Navy and is stationed in Chicago right now, but will probably be heading to VA at the end of July. Now that bites.

      She took a liking to it and was hugging/holding it on our last date when we were watching movies at my place… hence it picked up some of her perfume. :)
