Well, it’s been a while, so I thought I would take a moment to post. This past weekend we went to a wedding. Robert was a groomsman (one of his childhood friends was the groom). We drove to my parent’s on Friday. Then we had rehearsal in Green Lake Friday night. We left Laura in DeForest so we could enjoy the evening and she wouldn’t get too tired. We drove back to DeForest Friday night (got there around 11:00).
Saturday morning Laura got up at 6:20. I got to spend some nice time with her. Then it was time to get ready. It turns out that the dress I had brought to wear didn’t fit me right. So I ended up going through Mom’s closet to find something to wear. Fortunately, I was able to piece together items to look decent. We got to check into our motel room at 1:30. The best word to describe it is “ghetto”. I was glad we weren’t spending much time there. We made it just in time for pictures. I had planned on watching them being taken, but then I was recruited to guard wedding items that were left in the lobby (we had to wait for the wedding site to be ready). The wedding was really nice. It was small and intimate. The reception was fun. Robert and I danced a lot. We stayed until the very end. It was our first night away from Laura. I have spent a night away before, but never just the two of us.
Sunday morning we got up at 9. We stopped back to the Heidel House to drop off the tux. The Father of the Bride was returning tuxes (very much appreciated!). We got back to Mom’s around 10:45. We ended up leaving around 12:30. We got home around 4:00. It was nice to be home at a reasonable hour. Last night Robert and I worked on cleaning Laura’s room. We got her laundry all folded and put away. Clothes that don’t fit were added to the pile that needs to be packed away.
Today I am home. I am happy to have just a day at home with her. Tomorrow I have another therapy session. They seem to be helping a lot.
Not sure what is all on the agenda for the rest of the week. I should work on doing some cleaning today. I also need to make a grocery list and a menu for the week.

So I read that you dropped Laura off, and then I think, “What did they do with #2?” Obviously I don’t get enough sleep.

You must be seeing my dreams. I recently had a dream where I had #2. Not that I am announcing anything or even thinking about it yet.
