Why is it that everyone tells you that you don’t have to be superwoman, but by the pressures put on you, you have to be? For example, I am expected to work, make Laura’s food, make dinner, and still be nurturing Mom at night. Yesterday I also tutored, made cookies, and did laundry (granted, Robert did a bunch of it). I just feel like I have to do everything. I have to be superwoman. I can’t take it much longer.

Also: stay on top of Myth recordings, do grocery shopping, do bills, keep up with current events, clean, be sure appropriate sizes and seasons of clothing are available for child and self, read library books, keep up on family calendar, make travel plans, make dinner dates, determine dates for upcoming theater outings, make child care plans…

And be super understanding when your spouse has a bad day, don’t expect to much extra out of them because well they have to work. Organize all Dr visits, figure out how to get the kids bathed and ready for bed and get supper on the table at a normal time. This list has no ending I’m afraid…
