October

Well, I have really gotten into the life of being a homeowner. Today my mom came up for a visit. Robert, Mom, and I went window shopping, literally. We eneded up buying some nice Kolbe windows at the outlet store just outside of Hammond. I am excited for the windows. I know that we will notice a difference this winter. Hopefully our heating costs won’t be quite as bad this winter. The windows are getting installed at the end of this month.

On that same note, I am celebrating at the end of the month. I am considered CURED from my cancer!!!!! I know for sure that it is Oct. 29. I know that I want to do something like 2 or 3 in the afternoon. That way my brother can make it and not take time off work. I am just not entirely sure what to do. I think I would like to go out to eat somewhere. The only thing is, I’m not sure where. Anyone have suggestions? I need a place that can handle large groups.

Tonight is Mama Maria’s. I have been looking forward to that for a while now. I enjoy it when my mom and/or dad come up to visit.

I am pleased to say that I am finally getting jobs subbing. I am averaging 3 days a week. It is a good, steady amount. It could be nice to get more, but I’m tired at the end of each day. So, we’ll see what life brings. I am 99% positive that I am going to take my name off Hudson and Ellsworth sub lists. I am getting plenty of days in River Falls and Hammond. I really enjoy the two districts I am in. I don’t know if I would want the drive to Hudson and Ellsworth. I know they aren’t far. Maybe I am just lazy. *shrug* Most of the work I have been doing has been as a special ed. aid. I am considering going back and getting special ed. certification. The problem is 1) money 2) I would have to go to Stout, maybe Eau Claire 3) I don’t know how much I could work and go to school. Decisions, decisions.
