So here’s a quick update for today before I get too tired and/or forget. I was supposed to get together with a friend to help her with her portfolio. She had a doctor’s appointment in the morning and then was heading this way. Well, her doctor appointment got extended and had some other things come up. I’ll try getting a hold of her tonight so we can get together tomorrow. Since I didn’t know if she would end up calling me, I didn’t do much today. There is absolutely nothing on during the day. This late afternoon I was watching 7th Heaven on ABC Family (I like the show, leave me alone). The episode was about a marine who was killed in Afghanistan. I knew that I should have changed the channel, but I guess I’m a masochist. I sat and watched. I cried my eyes out. Things like that rip open the wounds of Shane dying. I’m getting teary eyed just thinking about it. I’m realizing that is true when people say you don’t get over a death of a loved one, you just learn how to live your life without them. It doesn’t make it any easier though.
