July

Time for an update

Life has been hectic. I would update on everything that has happened since I last posted, but I don’t think people really want to read about the last month of my life. Instead, I’ll just give highlights.

The weekend of June 25, Robert and I went to the Tomah Truck and Tractor Pull. The weather was perfect. To avoid long distances of driving at night, we camped with my parents in Portage, WI.

The following weekend we went to DeForest (my hometown) for the 4th. I was hoping to see Rhythm & Booms (midwest’s largest fireworks display set in time with music), but it was rained out. The rain date was Monday night, but I really didn’t feel like getting home around 3 am and get up and go to work at 8 the next morning. Sunday I spent part of the day in the park seeing friends, and saw fireworks Sunday night.

I had my .5 credit PE class this last week. I opted for Movement as Meditation. It really wasn’t what I thought it would be, but I survived.

SBC is trying to screw me over big time. I had signed up for their DSL, and cancelled it when I moved. Now they are saying that I owe them $191.73 for early termination fee. I never signed a contract saying I would keep it for a year, nor do I have it in writing anywhere that says I have to keep it for a year. So I am going to call them on Monday and try to work something out.

I have 4 books that are waiting for me to read them. One is from John, one is from Kathy (Robert’s mom), and two are from my mom. I am also learning how to crochet, so I have that I would like to work on. Now that I don’t have class, I am hoping to get some of these projects done. There are a few house projects that I would like to do, but I am not putting them hight priority right now.

Robert and I have been talking about sparkly things for certain fingers a lot recently. However, I think that I’m not going to mention it anymore for a while. I need to be happy in the state we are in now. He might be happy to hear that.

Work is still stressful at times. I try not to butt into things too much since Sarah thinks I do it all the time. Meanwhile it is impossible for me to have a conversation with anyone without her butting in. I am trying to ignore it, but it is hard. Apparently she found out that I don’t care much for her and she was upset by that. Julia told her in reply that I was fine with her until I figured out Sarah didn’t like me. Sarah couldn’t believe that I had figured that out. The stupidity of some people amazes me. It isn’t hard for me to figure out that a person doesn’t like me when they are always short, not friendly, and just seem to avoid me in general. But oh well. Life goes on. As my friend Meg said, “You can’t be close to everyone.” and “You can’t be friends with everyone”.

But it is time for me to eat. Write more later.
