This is my first post in a while. My Christmas was pretty good, except for the fact my brother wasn’t home. I won’t list everything I got, but I will mention just a few key items. I got a big thick fleece blanket from Kathy and John, cooking supplies from the ‘rents, and a cell phone from them as well for Christmas and Birthday. If anyone wants my number, let me know. I’m not going to post it here though. I have it with me pretty much all the time now.
New Year’s has been treating me well so far. Yesterday Robert and I came up to his parent’s house. He went out to cut wood last night, and I stayed at the house, working on John’s present. I am hoping to have it done very soon. Not sure when we are heading back to Robert’s today. I’ll just continue to write more stories.
I have decided not to make any resolutions this year. In my mind, they are just a way to make promises to yourself that you know you won’t ever keep. I know some people can keep them, but not me. So why set myself up for disappointment?
But that’s it from me for now. I’ll write more later.
