Well, I’ve survived my first week of classes for the semester. How many weeks to go? Most of them seem bearable. My environmental Ed class is a lot of work and boring. Hopefully I’ll survive. Logo is getting better. I was really bored on the first day, but things are starting to pick up. French is going to really challenge me this semester. So far it seems to be going ok. School is school. I have a few classes that I actually look forward to. My P ED is one of them. TED 420 seems like another good one. We are actually going to start to learn how to deal with issues in the schools. I’m excited for that.
I’ve done some figuring. Right now, Papa Murphy’s is giving me on average 8 hours a week. If they don’t take any taxes out (which won’t happen) and I get a full 10 hours at Textbook Services (also not really happening), then I will hardly break even. I think I need to tell Papa’s that I need more hours, even if my back does kill me. Otherwise I’m going to have to find somewhere else to work. At this point, Econo isn’t looking too bad. We’ll see what happens.
Tonight I was actually productive. I finished up my homework that is due tomorrow so I could work on my room. It is finally clean! I just have to work on my dresser, closet, and my three drawer cart now. I would love to be able to work on them a lot tomorrow, but I have lots to do tomorrow. In the morning Liz and I are going grocery shopping, then I should French. I have class from 1:25-2:20. I’ll come back to the apartment and work on some cleaning maybe. I have class from 4-6 at Greenwood Elementary school. After that I am going to head to the library to get my 12 art lessons done since those are due on Thursday. I think everything else is caught up. I’m sure I can do some reading, but I’m not going to worry about that too much at this point. It’s just going to be a long day tomorrow. Hopefully I won’t have to set my alarm clock if I get in bed soon. So on that note, I’m signing off for the night. Write more later.
